Alice Allison Dunnigan House is the first African American to be a member of the white house press corps and chief of Washington Bureau of the Associated Negro Press. Her home is located in Russellville Kentucky, renovated and hosting historical exhibits. Also outside of Auburn is a town called Bowling Green. If you are into adventure, take the chance and go on the underground boat tour. 57 degrees year round, it will take you through a tree covered valley, under a wishing rock, into an enormous cathedral like cavern and more!
