elk Electronics Inc. Officers are Steve and Cheryl Selk who started Selk Electronics in 1982 and have built a customer base of over 6000 consumer and commercial clients. We are primarily a Wireless DSL Internet Provider and Satellite and TV retailer but have extensive experience in commercial CATV, MATV, SMATV design, installation and service. We are familiar with sub channel return methods and fiber design. We have working relationships with Blonder Tongue design engineers and are familiar with products from Pico Macom and Scientific Atlanta. We have attended training seminars on CATV/SMATV design and installation for Blonder Tongue and WSNET. We have had training on fiber splicing and terminating with Lucent Technologies regional representatives. We have installed and tested Lucent's new RF to UTP conversion panels in schools in Wisconsin. We are an intermediate communications tower builder and have erected over 100 towers since we started in business in 1982.
