Underground Boring Specialties was established in 1995 in Baker, Montana by William and Maria Varner. Over the years the business has grown working in many states from Montana to Kansas. We own a 100,000 lbs. Barbco boring machine, and a 36,000 lbs Vermeer boring machine. We have used these rigs on millions of feet of pipeline and fiber optic cable installations. We have drilled holes and completed bores from 1" to 36" in width and lengths of up to 1600' long, crossing roads, streams and rivers from the central states to the west coast. Directional boring, a process of installing underground services without trenching is an efficient and professional method widely used in many developed and developing countries.
